I am so lucky to do what I do today but it didn't come without some struggle. For ten years I was an extreme dieter and over-exerciser and was miserable in my body. It didn't matter how much weight I lost or gained I still hated my body. All I did was think about food, calories and my weight, like all the time. With Body Peace it is completely different, we begin with you watching each weeks' video lessons and doing the provided worksheets THEN we meet one on one for an hour to really flush out what you got from the lessons, how they pertain to your specific situation and then we have time to discuss how the last couple of weeks went. We then come up with "homework" together so that you can progress at the fastest rate possible. Q: Who is Body Peace for?

Q: Does making peace with your body mean you're giving up?
A; Good gosh, no! I know this is a common misconception in the body positive movement but loving your body won't make you stop taking care of it, actually entirely the opposite. Do you own something you hate and take good care of it? Doubtful. It is more likely the things you admire and cherish that you give extra attention to, this is the same with your body. Respecting and even loving your body will only lead to you treating it as such.
Q: Do people lose weight on this program?
A: Here's the conundrum: Intuitive Eaters statistically weigh less than those who diet. However, if you come at Intutive Eating from a diet mindset it will simply become another set of diet rules that you cannot follow. The trick here is getting to the head space where you are just going down the path towards ditching the diet and letting your body do as it may. Your body is brilliant, it knows if it needs to lose weight or if it is happy and healthy just where it is. Your weight is up to your body, not up to you; and this is no different on a diet either.
